How do you pray? Do you pray, “Dear God, Please bless my food,” or is it, “Dear God, please Bless my sleep”? If you want to be entrusted with much in your spiritual life, you must also be willing to invest in spiritual matters such as faith in prayer.
Communicating with God helps to establish a relationship with God; one of the first things we ought to do after receiving Him into our life. The line of communication between God and us is called prayer. The following is a guide to prayer that will transform our “Dear God” prayers to the real relationship that He has longed for so long to have with us. We only need to be willing to pick up our end of the line and communicate effectively.
AWCIPA Prayer Model
ADMIRE. Lift up God for everything that he has done for you.
Oh Lord, Our Lord, How excellent us your name in all the earth. Psalm 8:9
“Dear Lord, I praise you for…”
WAIT. Communication is two way. Wait in silence and listen for God’s voice. Seek what it is He is trying to tell you. Do not interrupt – just listen.
Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait I say on the Lord. Psalm 27:14
CONFESS. Give to God ALL YOUR junk. Confess – not making excuses for or justifying to HIM why you did something – exactly what you did only. Do not confess for another person’s wrong-doing but only your own.
For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, so far as He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:11-12
“Lord, I confess as sin…”
INTERSESSION: Pleading with God on behalf of someone else, “to urge” and when on behalf of another, “to intercede” “to come between.” This is not to confess another’s sin for them but to pray for them as God has commanded us. The purpose of interceding is to bring or join back two separate things back to one just as Christ intercedes for us to God the Father. Maybe there’s someone you need to reconnect with but just don’t know how. Maybe you think there’s no chance and it just sounds too impossible? Watch this.
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:13-16
“Lord, please bless…”
PETITION. It is ok to ask BIG things. By this point in prayer, your spirit is in check and the things you ask for is of importance. Pray not only for a wife but for a woman of God. Pray not only for a man but for a husband who honors God in his life.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6
“Dear God, please bless me with…”
ADMIRE. Lift up and honor God. Thank Him one last time for all He’s done, for the answered prayers and the prayers He will answer. Close.
Blessed be the name of the Lord, because he has heard the voice of my supplication. Psalms 28:6
Sunday Message, July 27, 2008 – Pastor Miles McPherson
My prayer is that you grow in prayer, grow in faith, and trust in the Lord. AWCIPA MUCH and in due time, God will entrust you great and mighty things which you not know of.
“You cannot be snatched out of Christ’s hand. If you are His, then no temptation, no weakness, no ignorance, no problem will keep you from Him. Use that confidence to live boldly for Him.” – JUDAH poster at The Rock Sanctuary

The thing always happens that you really believe in; and the belief in a thing makes it happen. May be thats the spiritiual side of the prayer. All that Lord prayed for Christ is pure love and compassion not the sleep.
It is very true that communicating with the God helps to establish a relationship with the God. I always believed in it and has the faith in it. However, we tend to hear what we want to hear and ignore the real whispers.
Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live. Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for the truth.

ADMIRE: Dear Lord, I admire the things you have planned for us and take as you are. I accept everything that are destined for us.
“Dear Lord, I praise you for…”
WAIT: I am waiting in silence and listening every word the God has to say. I communicated back but may be some of the messages got lost because of the nature of
disturbance surrounding us.
"Dear Lord I wait for..."
CONFESS: Dear Lord, I always wanted to confess - CONFESS THE TRUTH - like the way the actual confession happens. Not to justify anything but to confess everything from my side. The things what they seem may not be true, like the people surrounding us creating a fasle picture. Confession is the only way we can clear our mind and see things in black and white. I still remember the things we used to do - simple things yet so magnetic and lively. I remember all of them. I feel it's that magnetic force that still keeping us together. Dear Lord never left Christ. Christ was always there at the back of his mind. Watch this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF4CWCXirZ8
"Dear Lord I confess..."
INTERSESSION: Dear Lord I will not pleed on behalf of someone else - but my own as God has commanded us. Lord met Christ after an year of search and seperation and may be its the destiny that joined us back. May be the prayer of faith got us together. And Lord is looking forward to reconnect together with the Christ.
"Dear Lord may we never part..."
PETITION: Dear Lord love in your heart wasn't put there to stay. Let our life flow in harmony with love. They say, we must loose something to know what we lost. And because of it sometimes we have to go half away around the world to come full circle. And when you find it, there is nothing that matters. Really "Nothing Else Matters".
“Dear God, please bless me with…”
“Christ you cannot be snatched out of Lord's hand. No temptation, no weakness, no ignorance, no problem will keep you away from him." Lord is coming back for you hrist...its the only thing that matter, now. Nothing can stop us.

Today's the start of a new good day. And I can feel it. It's a wonderful day all together now. I cant wait to see you, Christ. Love you so much!
