Our new President and Salary Freeze?

I was okay with the tightening freeze too until i learned that BO exempted himself and Biden from it.... they are exempt in the executive order.... don't believe me.... look it up. BO has free housing and everything, does he really need all his $400,000 a year pay? I know he is president and should get paid too but don;t go talking about LEADING by example, asking people to sacrifice for others, cap wages, and then exempt yourself. His tax forms are public too and he is not much of a giver at about 5-6% to charitable giving depending on the year. In all fairness, the US Constitution does not allow increase or decrease of president's salary during their term but they can choose to forgo compensation just as John F. Kennedy and Hoover chose to do during their terms. The world looks up to him and this would be a great time to lead by example.

And today, there is talk about capping CEO's salaries. Governing bodies figured they could possibly do it, especially when the fed gov has bailed out these companies with our tax money. Then of course, we can't expect it to stop there. IT may sound dandy and all because we can't seriously let people make that much money, right? *sarastic*, but if that goes through, how long after "they" aka the federal government dictate the capping of our salaries? This mentallity will surely motivated workers to do more, right? *sarcastic*...it will be so motivating to know that for the same work last year, you are now paid less - without input or consensus - just because BO says so.... or will workers too cap their productivity level as a result of a cap on their salaries. whatever it is.... it is a bad idea made by anyone for anything. Now if they all agreed together to do this for the betterment of the company so that no one is laid off (such as the Ken Blanchard Companies CHOSE to do several years ago starting with Ken Blanchard himself and all his family and friends working there), then that is a different story. When the KBC picked right back up, the employees and their families were treated to an all expense paid company trip to Hawaii. That is the power of true leadership in hard times... and the ability in business to choose and not be commanded/demanded or told. Let us hope that our freedom to life and the persuit of happiness is not taken away.

God bless America and God bless this man.

again, the hope is in our LORD who has us in His hands and no one else.
